Professional Development Units (PDUs)
According to PMI, Professional Development Units (PDUs) are used to quantify approved learning and professional service activities for certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Program Management Professional (PgMP®) credential holders.
To calculate the number of PDUs earned, use the following formula: one contact hour of learning relevant to project and/or program management within a structured activity or course equals one PDU.

Category B – Continuing Education, include documentation from the event, and PMI will determine if you qualify for credits.
CONTINUING DEVELOPMENT UNITS (CDUs)
A Continuing Development Unit (CDU) is a measurement used by the IIBA to award credit for participation in continuing development towards maintaining CBAP certifications.
To calculate the number of CDUs earned, use the following formula: one contact hour of learning relevant to project and/or program management within a structured activity or course equals one CDU.

Category 2 – Professional Development, include documentation from the event, and the IIBA will determine if you qualify for credits.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)
IACET (International Association for Continuing Education & Training), a CEU is a unit of credit equal to 10 hours of participation in an accredited program designed for professionals with certificates or licenses to practice various professions. The annual number of CEUs required varies by state and profession.
