Brian Lockwood, Benchmark Learning's lead Developer and .NET educator was accepted as a member of Microsoft Learning's MCT Advisory Council. The council consists of Microsoft Certified Trainers from around the world and works with Microsoft Learning to provide feedback on a variety of initiatives. Brian is one of two MCTs representing North America.

Computerworld - Christmas came in midsummer for Nicole Thompson, IS director of applications at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley.
Thanks to a federal mandate to implement electronic health records (EHR) systems, she has the funds in her 2011 budget to hire 11 new employees for projects ranging from database analysis and design to wireless device implementation.

In a perfect world, your network would suffer no downtime and be locked down tight. You'd be in perfect compliance with all government regulations, and your users would all be self-supporting. The cloud would take care of nearly all your infrastructure needs, and there wouldn't be a single device accessing the network you didn't first approve of and control.
