On-Demand Learning vs. eLearning
What's the difference?
On-Demand is similar to many eLearning titles, but has many innovative benefits. Let’s compare:
Courses:
eLearning:
Most titles are built for the new user and contain hours of lessons, some of which not all users will need. The user spends too much time sifting through the basics to find the new content.
On-Demand:
Our New Feature titles are streamlined to get the user started quickly and concisely and provide an index of topics the can be accessed fast. Our new user titles assume some software application experience and spend limited time on the basics.
Licensing:
eLearning:
Licensing is typically structured around the exact number of users and specifically who they are. Additionally, most models execute a license fee that needs to be renewed annually, leaving organizations wondering if anyone used it last year and should they renew it again?
On-Demand:
Benchmark Learning wants to ensure you have the training tools available for everyone, every time. We know that many users will leverage a self-paced learning tool such as On-Demand frequently while some may not need it as much. We also understand that some people need training this year while others will have new software rolled out to their site or department next year. We keep the license model simple by providing only three choices:
- Individual licenses
- Site licenses
- Organizational licenses
All of these options are lifetime models with your initial license fee.
