You may have noticed these icons at the bottom of our blogs. These are some web services we've noticed people using. We wanted to make it easier for you to access and share your favorite blog entries.

Facebook

Facebook is a free social network website that connects people through mutual networks, such as city, workplace, school and/or region. It allows people to add "friends" and interact with them by massaging and allowing users to update a personal profile alerting friends about themselves.

DZone

DZone is a free link-sharing community for developers. There are free developer forums, newsletters, feature articles and presentations. The site is set up so that anyone can submit new links to the incoming queue, vote on upcoming links and everyone can browse, search and comment on links.

Digg

Digg was designed to allow its users to find and show any content on the web. The main idea of the site is that people can post links and stories, and then the Digg community votes on what gets on the front page, and what gets buried.

StumbleUpon

StumbleUpon is a site dedicated to finding and sharing great websites. Instead of being a simple search engine, the site uses collaborative opinions to match its users personal preferences.

Technorati

Technorati is a a search engine built to specifically find blogs. With over 100 million blogs and over 250 million pieces of tagged social media, it competes with such search engines as Google and Yahoo.

Delicious

Delicious is a web service for social bookmarking and is owned by Yahoo!. It is designed to allow similar-minded users to view each other's bookmarks through a non-hierarchical classification system.

Newsvine

Newsvine, Inc. was created in Seattle in 2006 with the purpose of having a efficient way to interact with the news. It brings together established media sources as well as individual contributions from around the world. What get's high placements is dependant on the NewsVine community.

Reddit

Reddit is a website dedicated to social news that allows its users to post links to web content. The links then get predominance based on the votes of other users. Discussion areas allow users to discuss the links and to vote for or against others' comments.

BlinkList

BlinkList is set up to make saving and sharing links much easier. It gives its user a browser button that saves their web pages as they search. The website allows users to access all their links as well as follow their friends' links and share theirs.

Furl

Furl is a free social bookmarking website that archives a personal copy of the sites its users save for a total of up to 5 gigabytes. The site also takes information from the sites its users have already saved to recommend other sites of interest.
