| | Harness web applications built in Silverlight 2.0 to deliver browser rich, accessible content to clients and customers. Silverlight 2.0 is not just a browser plug-in, but a web programming platform built on the powerful .NET Framework. This powerful architecture allows companies to build rich internet applications while still maintaining their .NET developer base. Silverlight 2.0 leverages the separation of user interface and logic by using the extensible application markup language (XAML). It transfers dynamic content through asynchronous calls allowing for a seamless interaction with the user interface.

Presenter Brian Lockwood joined Benchmark Learning in early 2008 as a .Net instructor. He is enthusiastic about the technology and has implemented a number of .Net projects for companies throughout the United States. He also has been developing projects for the web since the mid-90s. He brought his experience and passion for teaching, as well as his laid back style, over from Australia. His rich set of experiences brings great value to the Benchmark Learning organization and to his classroom.
