    Service Lifecycle

The Service Lifecycle courses are built around five core books. (The five blue squares in the diagram above.)
    • Service Strategy – Defining strategy for IT Service Management. Should be driven by business strategy.
    • Service Design – Designing the services to support the strategy.
    • Service Transition – Implement the services in order to meet the designed requirements. Design in essence goes through transition to go “live.”
    • Service Operation – Support the services managing the operational activities. Make sure everything can be supported on a day-to-day basis.
    • Continual Service Improvement – Measure and improve service and process maturity level. After comparison of all phases, a service period is concluded and another service period begins.

    Service Capability

The Service Capability stream is built around four clusters. (The four green squares in the diagram above.)
