Windows Server 2008 Certification Bootcamps
These courses will provide students multiple MCTS certifications as well as the MCITP for Server 2008 (upon passing their exams). Students should have Windows Server 2003 experience and/or certifications. Students will learn core technologies while preparing to take their exams. The preparation process will include taking simulated exams using Transcender, the industry-leading IT certification-preparation product.
Audience:
Students wishing to obtain Windows Server 2008 certification in an intense, fast-paced environment. Those unfamiliar with Windows Server 2003 may find this to be too fast and not an effective solution to obtain their 2008 certification.
Prerequisites:
Students attending this class should be very familiar with most areas of Windows Server 2003 or should bring their own seat belt and air bag.
Objectives:
Students will have the choice of taking one of these exam packages:
Current MCSAs on Windows Server 2003 will take: - 70-648: TS: Upgrading your MCSA on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008, Technology Specialist
- 70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator
Current MCSEs on Windows Server 2003 will take: - 70-649: TS: Upgrading your MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008, Technology Specialist
- 70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator
Non-Windows 2003 Server certified candidates will take: - 70-642: TS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring
- 70-640: TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring
- 70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator (6 day, 4 certification bootcamp students only)

This intense exam preparation course will run 12 hours per day (Monday — Friday), from 8:00am to 8:00pm with lunch and a light dinner served each day — other than Friday when classes end around lunch hour.
