Student Testimonials
At Benchmark Learning, we take a great deal of pride in our employees and our instructors because serving our customers is our number one goal. So what do our students say? Check out a few of the student testimonials we've received in the past few months:
Hi Lou,
I enjoyed the [Project Management] class tremendously and got a lot out of it. It was a pleasure to have an instructor who is a true project management geek (I
hope you take that as a sincere compliment)...
It's not enough to simply know the material. Your ability to provide real-world examples from your obvious experience, along with a real passion for the topic (and making sure we got it) made all the difference. You are truly a knowledgeable and engaging instructor and an interesting person to boot! I certainly hope I am able to take another class from you in the future. Thanks for making this one of the best and most timely classes I've had the pleasure of attending.

If I was to recommend anyone as a training provider, it would have to be Benchmark Learning. Citrix invited me to participate in the development of the XenApp (Presentation Server 4.5) Admin course a little while back. This included a full walk-through of the course which was presented by Dan Villanti from Benchmark, he was quite outstanding.

I recently took an eight-hour class on Power Point with instructor Helen Krone. She is absolutely the best! I am a retired nurse who started a new career in the business world and things like Power Point can be overwhelming to someone like me. Helen made it so enjoyable and taught at a level I could understand, without making me feel inadequate. I’ll be taking more classes with Benchmark Learning because of Helen. She is simply really, really good.

I took PowerPoint, Level 1 with Mark Slade, and I've been telling everyone that it was one of the best classes I've attended in over a decade! The class moved at a good pace, the room was comfortable and even though the wallpaper guys were around, they did not effect the overall learning experience. Mark was an excellent instructor, and I was very impressed and pleased that he made sure to answer all of my questions.

In my humble opinion, the key to teaching someone is to first get them to want to learn. People don’t want to learn from someone they don’t consider credible. Dan Villanti did a good job of establishing his credibility and presenting the material. He knew the information and was willing to admit when he did not. He was willing to say he did not know but would check into it for us. That gave me a lot of respect for him. I also enjoyed the hands-on atmosphere of the class. The virtual machine environment allowed us to play around and not be afraid of taking anything down. That’s a great guess and test environment, and I enjoyed learning in it.

Lu Patrick came to Hamline last year for one day of mentoring in packaging applications, working with three of us. With Lu's assistance and knowledge we were able to package an application we had been having trouble with. In addition, we were able to gain new skills and increase our awareness of packaging tools and resources. Of particular help to us was sorting out MSI components and features, AdminStudio help as a resource, the Windows Installer database, editing MSI properties and downloadable third-party tools. As we had hoped, Lu customized her approach to our situation and let our questions lead the process, which was just what we wanted.

Dan,
Thanks once again and I can't tell you how much I liked your [Microsoft Exchange Server 2010] class. I have never done remote learning before and I really enjoyed it. Since I was the only one in the room it really allowed me to concentrate on the material.
