Community Involvement


As an organization built on service, Benchmark Learning believes helping those in need is important to staying connected to our community. We have contributed services, funds and volunteers to a number of local and national non-profit organizations. Here are a number of organizations Benchmark Learning has impacted in the community:


Toys for Tots Toys for Tots is an program from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, distributes toys and allows less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas. Benchmark Learning has been a supporter of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program since 1998. We annually hold toy drives for our employees and students and we have also been a Twin Cities Toys for Tots drop-off location.
Feed My Starving Children Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization that hand-packs meals formulated specially for starving children, and ships the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world. FMSC’s volunteer program offers groups of all kinds the opportunity to work together in a positive, team-focused environment.Benchmark Learning employees have volunteered at both the Eagan, MN and Chanhassen, MN locations.
Loaves and Fishes Benchmark Learning employees have also volunteered their time to serve meals to the hungry for more than five years through Loaves & Fishes, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious meals to the hungry of the Twin City Metro area.
American Red Cross  The American Red Cross is a volunteer-led orgniazation where people mobilize to help people worldwide in the event of an emergency, as well as emergency prevention efforts. Benchmark Learning has participated in volunteering for local disaster relief with the American Red Cross, as well as donated to national and international disaster relief efforts.
